NIA is open to everyone. Nia participants come from all walks of life — but share a common desire to feel better, move better, and have fun.

What is NIA?

Nia blends the best of deance, martial arts, and healing arts into a joyful mindful movement practice. Each session is a 60-minute, whole-body experience that invites you to move with freedom, awareness, and connection.

Benefits often include:

  • A greater sense of confidence and joy in their body
  • Better balance, agility, grace and flexibility
  • Improved stamina and endurance
  • Increased strength and muscle tone
  • Reduced stress. Enhanced sense of calm

  • A stronger feeling of well-being, connection, and community

What to wear and bring?

  • Comfortable clothes you enjoy moving in
  • Bare feet are common, but non-slip socks or soft-soled shoes also work
  • a yoga mat and water bottle

Session Times

  • Mondays: 4:00 – 5:00 pm
  • Wednesdays: 10:00 – 11:00 am

Come when you can — no registration required!

How much does it cost?

We ask participants to contribute $5 per class as a donation towards the hall rental and other program costs. No prior registration required. Just come on out and join us!
